Prescription lenses can be selected when paying the balance, but you can also purchase them yourself from your local optometrist. We provide a mold so the optometrist can see how to use them.

Not yet, sir — shipping has been delayed. After upgrading to Qualcomm AR1, a lot of things had to be reworked and validated again. But this also means the version you receive will be much closer to our internal “Gen 2” vision for Monako, powered by AR1. Our founder will post a new update video on the 28th. It should include a more accurate shipping timeline, as well as a demo of the new interaction experience. I think it’ll be worth watching.

For Monako payments, AVS availability depends on the card issuer, card country, and payment method. If the card network and issuer support AVS, the payment processor may use it as part of the card verification and risk checks.

These are all good questions. 1. 3DoF Head-pose (quaternion at 200 Hz) is exposed as a small C lib, we're also working on 6DoF tracking, which would be exposed the same way. Our lua app framework bundles a small rust based 3d renderer that supports rendering Skia UI, and common 3d model formats like GLB/GLTF and FBX. 3DoF controls the camera in this renderer, UI meshes and 3d models can be programmatically placed and rotated. Our Lua UI framework has 2 render modes: 2d mode and spatial mode. 2d mode allows apps to open in full screen or side by side. Spatial mode keeps windows open, and allows you to drag them around. The entire Lua app framework lives on device as plain text Lua code, open to reuse and modification. 2. Yes — the scroll wheel is a standard Linux input device at /dev/input/event*, readable by background daemons. 3.Yes — via the QNN direct path (Qualcomm QNN SDK + DLC). We'll provide scripts to help you convert ONNX models to QNN. 4. Bootloader is unlocked, so fastboot is reachable — but there is currently no physical button combo. Yes — by “first batch,” I mean the users who successfully paid the $19 deposit during the first reservation window. So if your $19 reservation payment was completed successfully, then you are included in the first batch. There wasn’t another payment method you missed. And no worries at all — I totally understand the excitement 😄 We’re excited too. We just want to make sure the first units meet our quality standards before we move to final payment and shipping.
